Baghlai Border Road Tour, starting beside the Toma Tungi Parjatan Complex. This route follows the newly developing border road network in the remote hills of Thanchi Upazila, Remakri and Likri — on the fringes of the country along the hills. The road is part of the larger 1,036 km border-road project spanning the hilly districts of Bandarban District, Rangamati District and Khagrachari District, aimed at improving connectivity, security and tourism.
Highlights of the tour:
-
Ride or drive along the high-hills border road, where you’ll cross sharp turns and steep escarpments — the terrain is rugged, beautiful and demanding.
-
Visit remote hill villages, tribal communities and forested slopes that are still largely off the tourist radar.
-
Reach vantage points near Remakri and Likri where you’ll get views over the valleys, river courses and hills of eastern Bangladesh.
-
Travel experience is anchored at Tomatungi Resort: local guides, logistics support, safe transport and coordination from the nearby Toma Tungi Parjatan Complex.
